Mikado Katsudo Tournament Pole 2 – Telescopic Poles

Mikado Katsudo Tournament Pole 2 is a range of lightweight telescopic poles designed for traditional float fishing without a reel. Available in lengths from 4 to 7 m, these poles allow anglers to choose the right reach for different fishing spots and conditions. They are a practical choice for anglers who value simple tackle, comfortable handling and direct contact with the fish.

The low weight makes these poles comfortable to hold during longer fishing sessions, particularly when repeatedly presenting a float rig in the same area. Their telescopic construction allows for quick setup and convenient storage after fishing. Katsudo Tournament Pole 2 models are well suited to coarse fishing on lakes, canals and slower-flowing rivers.

The range includes four lengths: 4.00 m, 5.00 m, 6.00 m and 7.00 m. The shorter models are convenient for fishing close to the bank, while the longer versions provide additional reach when fish are holding further out. All models have a manufacturer-specified casting weight range of 3–20 g. Depending on the length, the poles weigh between 85 and 256 g.

The 4.00 m model weighs just 85 g, the 5.00 m version weighs 140 g, the 6.00 m model weighs 190 g and the longest 7.00 m version weighs 256 g. Transport lengths range from 137 to 140 cm, making the poles convenient to carry and store. Combining a lightweight design, telescopic construction and a choice of four lengths, Mikado Katsudo Tournament Pole 2 offers a practical solution for both recreational and regular float fishing.
